The Kiwi Story site provides a venue for members to showcase their business. Using the site and its services implies that the user has read, understood and agreed to the following terms and conditions.  

The Kiwi Story Limited (hereafter the Company) reserves the right to amend these terms and at any time we see fit, and users must ensure they are aware of the latest terms and conditions.

Registrations and Packages  

Users can register for the use of services provided by the Company . There are 3 different packages a user can register for indicating 3 different levels of service.

• Bronze: The Bronze package allows members to post an image/logo that fits one square on the canvas in their category page. It also gives members a dedicated listing page to showcase their business

• Silver: The Silver package allows members to post an image/logo that fits two squares on the canvas in their category page. They can have the option of choosing a vertical or horizontal orientation. It also gives members a dedicated listing page to showcase their business

• Gold: The Gold package allows members to post an image/logo that fits four squares on the canvas in their category page. They can have the option of choosing a vertical, horizontal or square orientation. It also gives members a dedicated listing page to showcase their business

It is the members’ responsibility to ensure that their image/logo and listing posted conform to these guidelines, otherwise the Company does not guarantee that the user’s image/logo will be posted on the canvas, or that their listing will appear on the site.

Fees

• Fees for packages are payable on registration site services will not be accessible to members till payment is made in full.
• Package fees are non-refundable.
• All packages are non-transferable.
• The Company reserves the right to change fees without notice, at any time. Members who have already paid for packages will not be charged the increased rate until their package period has expired.

Selection Criteria

• The Company enforces selection criteria on all registrations. Acceptance of your registrations and refund of your application fee will be at the sole discretion of the Company.

Site Services

The Kiwi Story site allows members to post their logos on the site and allows members to promote their business.  

• Members must ensure that all information in their listing is accurate
• Members must ensure that all links on their listing work, and that there are no broken links.
• Members must not post offensive content in their listings or logos.-This includes, but is not limited to, discriminatory, pornographic, defamatory or unlawful content.
• Members will not post offensive images anywhere on the site.
• Members must not use the site and its services for purposes that are not legal within New Zealand.
• Members must take full legal responsibility for the content of their listings.
• The Company makes every effort to ensure maximum site availability and reliability. However the Company does not guarantee that site services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
• The Company may have to take the site offline for site maintenance purposes from time to time.
• Users may not attempt to interfere with site services via automated or manual means.

For visitors to the site, The Kiwi Story site is an invaluable source of information about New Zealand and New Zealand businesses.  

• The Company takes no responsibility for the accuracy or truth of the listings.
• Visitors’ use of the information on the site is at their own risk.

Privacy Policy

The Company gathers information about its members in order to provide effective services to its members. These may be details gathered via the site registration process or other site usage information.  

• Members must consent to the use of this information by the Company for internal reporting and marketing purposes.
• The Company will not sell this information to third parties without member consent. The Company may provide your details to the relevant authorities where a legal breach has occurred.

Breach  

The Company reserves the right to cancel any members membership at any time where the member has breached the terms and conditions. All of the members’ listings and logos will be removed if this is the case.
